In post-pandemia le parole d’ordine sono cambiamento e adattamento.
Il nuovo stato di quasi-normalità in cui la coscienza della comunità e dell’innovazione ci porta avanti.
Per noi è questo la Formaggioteca.
E sicuramente ci sono alcuni o forse molti di voi che l’adattamento lo avete vissuto sulla vostra pelle?
In ogni modo tutti abbiamo potuto riflettere negli ultimi quasi due anni sulla nostra vita e poi alla nostra terra, i due elementi fondamentali per la nostra sopravvivenza nel prossimo futuro.
E ciò ci porta a come scegliamo di vivere nel poi…
Noi possiamo solo parlare per noi stessi. Vogliamo meno, ma meglio. La qualità prima di tutto. Non solo nel cibo (che però è fondamentale) ma in tutti gli aspetti della quotidianità.
Questo sì che potrebbe essere un buon proposito andando avanti. Non sappiamo esattamente dove andremo ma abbiamo iniziato un cammino… Sempre con umiltà e umanità.
Vogliamo portarvi con noi nel nostro mondo formaggioso!

This past week-end our Family went to Milan to join the Golosaria food event. The event is the leading artisanal food event in Italy, featuring foods from around the boot and prizing the best of artisans in all food sectors from wines to gelato and everything in between.
As many of you know, our Formaggioteca was very much a product of the 2020 pandemic in which our original wine tour operating business, Grape Tours, went out of business at least temporarily for obvious reasons. This made us think of how we could incorporate our love for wine & food (cheese) in a more local context.
One thing I would like to add is that I have discovered how great the cheese world actually is. I used to be focused only on wine (in fact, one couldn't say that I have just one hobby now ). The cheese world feels still so undiscovered and yet ancient in every way that wine is. Maybe that's just because I'm starting to uncover it now. And I can't wait to share what's up ahead...
Thanks to my hubby with whom I've done more than one 360-degrees-turn with, and to our new coworkers who we've only met this year and who've already proved their devotion and loyalty, and to all the people, cheese-connoisseurs or not, who are giving us a chance in this new field - and a huge new passion - CHEESE!
